Chrysler LS-16 / New Owner
Posted: Sat Jul 02, 2011 9:10 am
Hello all,
I am new here. I have been sailing small sailboats for a few years and just purchased a Chrysler LS-16. Though it is in sailing condition now, I intend to completely restore and customize it over the summer months. Hopefully, I will have it in the water this fall. I have been reading this forum for a while (since I bought this boat a couple months ago) and thought you might be interested in what I find out and what approach I decide to take in regards to specific repairs. Perhaps this will all have been said and done before but this specific boat will be new for me so I thought I would share as I go along.
To that end I started a blog on Google today so as to chronicle my progress. I thought I could share more details/pics that way rather than try to put everything down here. I read the rules (here) and I didn't see anything prohibiting posting the link to my blog (there is no profit intended other than "Knowledge") so here it is. If this should not be posted, I assume it will be gone soon and I will understand.
My first blog entries (4) bring you from my start in sailing through my few boats to now. I will start to write about the specific repairs I am undertaking presently and include pics this weekend.

First entry is entitled How, Why & When.........(I started sailing)
Thanks, Rick in Phoenix, AZ
