Hello! from a new C22 owner with questions

I just picked up my new (1976) Chry 22 
, and it had lots of stuff the previous owner didn't even know was in the boat. Still can't see what it does or did. I have four pieces of canvas, with snaps all the way around - one is about 6'x4' with a notch cut out of the 6' length (mast cut out?), two smaller triangular pieces with see-through clear vinyl sections, and another section about 4'x4'. I have searched the boat for snaps - can't find any. Also some tent poles in boat!! ????? 
Anyway, I'm sure I'll have more questions later, but this will get me started!!
