I like when someone says "get another drink in the interim..." that's probably how they got in that situation in the first place.

I noticed and they commented:
The skipper of that boat entered a busy anchorage with a 50' Beneteau under sail that they were very likely unfamiliar with.
For those not in the "Know" those red white and blue Bennies are usually rentals. Stay clear of them. Also check your local stickers. Here in Washington State there are TWO different boat stickers! One is for owner drivel vessels and the other . . . . . RENTALS! Stay clear of the rentals! LOL!!
Alan, Greg, and Billy, Check the color of your CURRENT state sticker. If you see a boat that has a different color and the sticker is current . . . . RUN don't walk, the other way!

some people who rent boats do not care where the money comes from the 1 marina here needs some boating exp. or the rent an operator too.

Maybe it was a diversionary tactic while some other pirates were getting the booty!
Scott, I didn't know that,, have to look closer next time out, but they don't have sailboat rentals in our lake
