Nice video EE and Scott you know they say that anytime there are 2 or more sailboats sailing in the same direction there is a race. That said when I get my boat in with the new keel cable I bet my friends will wish I kept the keel up as we were the same speed last year but now I will be increasing my draft by 4' and reducing side slip so I will ask them to keep an eye on my outboard.

The trick is to get in the gulf stream, we were out there a few days ago to make it up to see the shuttle go up. We hit near 10 knots before the 1st mate thought it was to fast :( the previous owners said the had our E-32 up to 17 knots comming up the Gulf stream comming back from the Bahamas :)

I'm waiting to go racing on my friends race sailboat that that hits 25 knots normally.
Theres vidio of the Hydro trimaran doing 61knots somewhere on the net.

I've no qualms with those who have a need for speed... but for me one of my main motives for venturing into the world of sailing was to slow my world down... not speed it up.

Amen Terrance, besides there's less likely to be a spill from the glass at a slower speed!
