So, some of you know I'm into old Chevys.
I was at a swap meet ALL day Saturday helping my neighbor sell 3 PU truck and two trailer loads of stuff. Somve very cool stuff, some junk.

Either way, I stashed a small bit of cash aside to buy an old set of corvette rims. On the way back later in the day to buy these rims I was dissapointed that they had sold. Not surprised though. They were WAY undervalued. I thought hey, just maybe . . . . but it was not to be.

So,

Walking back to the 3 booths we were watching I Spied a pachinko machine! OMG! IT was covered in filth. Years of grim, grit, dust and generally just crap was all over it.However it was in very nice condition otherwise! I could not decide so I walked away. I called my wife to tell her what I found and she lit up like a Christmas tree! Well, then, back I go only to find no less than 4 people PLUS the owner crowded around the machine. Awe man . . . . I missed another one. So . . . Ooo look chrome . . . . ( I must be part redneck . . . .)I leterally killed ten minutes looking at chrome chevy parts. I deceided to head back but thought, just maybe . . . . so back to the Pachinko I went .. . . . It was there! I walked up to it, the owner immediatley laughed "Your Back"!! I said yes and asked what is wrong with the machine. Hmm It was jammed. It would play but no one could win. Ever.

So carring my new pachinko back to the booths was a big hassle! LOL!

Today, after 1 hour of web surfing, 2 hours of simply cleaning, and maybe 15 minutes of trying to open the glass door, here is my new Pachinko machine from the early 70's!

As silly as it sounds I love the thing!
My dog hates it but I think it is fabulous!!!

Very cool, I've not seen one of these since the late 1970's myself.

Thanks

Scott...nice job...looks great...I also love old stuff and really love getting it cleaned up and looking/working like new. Right now my "old stuff" is my C22. Spent $100 at West Marine today...West System epoxy supplies and Cetol for my washboards.
Hoping to uncover the boat tomorrow...will be doing videos on YouTube as I refurbish my boat.
