Chesapeake Bay Anchorages

I will be bringing my newly purchased TMI 30 from Middle river to Myrtle Beach in April. Any suggestions for good anchorages from Middle River to Norfolk would be greatly appreciated. I have made the trip from Norfolk to Myrtle Beach so I am good there, just to Middle River is the big question. Thanks
