We were working in the cabin and needed more light. The lighting reveled another crack in the sole. It is between the table and the bench on the port side, near the head. It looks to be wet still like the crack near the bilge area.
Have any of you seen this?

I ended up removing all the plywood on the sole, it ends underneath the fiberglass floor, just forward of compression post. Nasty job, but the plywood was rotted in some places and soaked everywhere else. The vertical plywood bonded to the swing keel was also removed.

Just a side note while you are working around the head, you may have checked it already. There is a smaller bow bilge section where most of the water collects just outside the head under the walkway. more water maybe lurking there... it was on my 1980 c26. I haven't had to rip out any of my sole just yet , but I did cut some access points to check the condition of the compression block and to keep my bow bilge dry.
