This might need to be in the wanted section After the first mate got to see the original C-26 galley she keeps droping hints (the 10 ton type) "how nice it was set up" and that she thinks "it would be better" and the best "who can argue with original?"

I have the sink and stove I just need good pictues and dimeantions?

I think this is a project if it gets put on the hard.

We have the original galley, but unfortunately we won't be at the boat for a couple weeks now. If you still need them then I can get you all the pictures and dimensions you want.

Many have improved the galley, by extending it to an "L" shape, loosing the port side birth, but retaining seating on the port side of the table. If I were building a new galley that's certainly the direction I would go.

The "L" galley sounds interesting, while we're posting pics, can someone show the improvements they've made to the original.

I wasn't posting these since I didn't want to steal anyone's thunder, but since no one is posting...

All the photos you found look nice, there sure to give us lots of ideas to run with. The first photo did catch my eye, but it wasn't just the L galley. Maybe it's the angle of the photo... or my older eyes, but I don't see a footing for the short half of the port chain plate.

Those look great, that really motivates me to lay some new ideas on paper.

You guys are living high on the water with microwaves and ranges, where are the fridges!?!

This might be a little premature on my part, since the only thing left inside my boat is the fiberglass floor/seat liner. I'm drawing up plans to build a sliding galley unit, to stow below the port cockpit seats. The only real problem I can think of is the sink drain, some type of flexible joint would be needed. I'd rather have the salon cleared for sailing.

Thanks Tom the wife loves Haboobs setup. I planed on something between original and something like that .

Frank did a great job on ours, its all against the port side but with the 120v frige and microwave it just doesn't work with our sailing style and just gets in the way when under sail.

I'm not sure about Haboob, but Gregg's galley includes a custom built refrigerator. You can see the opening in the counter top.

The biggest problem I see is the fact that there aren't many right angles in the original galley. Every thing is shaped to fit the hull except for one corner. My galley is still out and will be the last thing put back in. You are welcome to stop by and make patterns if you are up this way.

This Chrysler sailor forum is terrible. Before I found it, I was completely content with the 22. Now I find myself trying to figure out where I can keep a 26 too.

Oh Dan you nailed this one.

I've never seen a C-26 in the flesh and I too keep looking for one and figuring out how to have both a C-22 and a C-26. I'm thinking the C-22 would have to go to a new owner because I'd be on the C-26 all the time and the C-22 is use to being loved all the time and would get jealous.
