Cabin roof growth

I have had my 1975 c-22 for five years. I keep getting these tan, chrystal mounds inside the cabin. They look like a bug nest, but i can find no evidence of bugs when I clean them. I can only assume that something is leaching out of the fibergalss. They seem to form mostly over the winter storage. Has anyone else dealt with these "mini-stalagmites"?

Hey Carl,
Any possibility in getting photos of this?
I'd love to see what you are talking about!

 Actually, these would be considered stalagtites as they are "hanging tight" to the ceiling. Stalagmites grow upward and "provide a mighty base" beneath their corresponding stalagtite.

I have what appear to be the same sort of things as Mario posted growing on the wall/floor in the port locker next to my keel pin bolts.

I got that on the ceiling in my workshop last year. The words "alien" and "pod" come to mind. Probably because I spent way to much time at the local movie theatre as a child of the mid 50's and early 60's.

Some sort of crystaline life form, Captain.

Klaatu barada nikto, indeed.

Mario's picture is what I was describing. That same area and over the shelf on the port side by the gangway. By the way, I store the boat with the bow pointing north, and the stuff seems to form on the western side. I clean them off and they keep reoccuring. It sounds like a Chrysler thing, and an ailien workshop.
