Rudder/Hull Repair? -- Photobucketed Images

OK so now I have these images loaded into a easier to access database.

1) There are several different types of Fiberglass resins/coatings which ones should I use in the 2 different hull pictures?
2)For repairing the crack in the rudder what would you guys/gals recommend?

I did not intend to work on my rudder tonight, but. The pics may give you a better idea of the work I am trying to describe. All the materials you'll need are probably available at your local auto parts store.

My boat has not been in the water for two years but it was stored uncovered until I purchased her in early April. The rudder was removed and stored in my garage since then and the foam core was still wet when I removed the SS tubes that house the rope knots.

I used kitty hairon my C-22 and a tube of gel-coat repair goes a long way.
if your going to paint do a final wash with Dawn dish soap.

A comment on your physics slide. I believe 24" heigtht X 100 pounds force would be 2,400 inch pounds rather than 2,400 foot pounds of force for the stantions (200 ft pounds).
