Rigging for a Man o War

I am trying to find out how much line I need to properly rig a "Man-o-War"?

In reviewing the owners manaul that is on line I see that I need 48" piece of 3/16 and a 24" piece of 3/16 line. That does not seem like enough line to let the sail out fully. Does anyone out there know how much line I need or where I can find out?

Any help that you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Dom

Dom,
I emailed you the scanned version of the original Man-O-War manual complete with all the pics, etc. However it still doesn't list the mainsheet length although from the pic of the mainsheet rigging you may get a better idea of how much you need.

Hi EE:

THANKS!!

At least I can see how the rope is supposed to go so. I can now start off with 100' of rope feed the system and cut it down to size. My rough guesstimate is 25-30' for the boom to be able to swing to about a 45degree angle.

Thanks again,
Dom
