Woot, first de-floating a success!

Post by parared »

I didn't ..

1 ) Sink the trailer
2 ) Sink the truck
3 ) Fall in ( well, up to my knees doesn't count )
4 ) put the boat on sideways ( though my tongue weight is about 4 lbs )
5 ) drop the mast on the car next to me
6 ) have a wheel fall off
7 ) have the boat fall off

Now .. to start my winter-list.

Wow, I'm so used to drop the boat in the water and retrieve it, that I don't even think about it no more :)

But I thought you were supposed to sink the trailer in order to get the boat aboard. I gotta rethink this thing!!!

As soon as both rails are under water I can pull the boat on the trailer and be out in 5 min, I do this everytime I go sailing.
My only thing is in a few weeks I will be dropping the mast for the first time.

Instead of dropping the mast, I recommend setting it down nicely!! LOL!
Sorry, I have not had my coffee yet . . . . .

If you are using a bridle system, check out my link in my signature.
If you decide to step the mast with any regularity, I'd recommend a mast hing instead of the factory hook plate. I have a hinge on both my 22's and LOVE it!!
