A $630 lunch!

Well, the restaurant owns the moorings, but they refuse to rent them to anyone that does not have a sailboat. They installed the moorings to create a special atmosphere for the establishment. That is the primary reasons why my wife and I have visited that restaurant for years, and their basic business investment was correct.

Ok, how much will this mooring cost me? He replied, but unless I had a sailboat, he would not rent it to me. Well, I have a new C-22 that needs a place to stay...

Compared to that lovely sailboat currently in front of my restaurant, what is the difference between yours and it?

As best as I can tell from this distance, about 4 feet in length!

$600 for next year's rent, and the rest of this year free. I now have a mooring FRONT AND CENTER before the windows of his restaurant!

I love this deal, because my sailboat is supervised almost 24 hours a day. I could not have dreamed of a better arrangement.

Perhaps, when I twisted my knee last week, that was God's way of telling me to wait...

P.S:

He simply added the mooring fee to our food and we ended up paying $630 for lunch today!

Sounds like a great deal.

Now all you have to worry about is doing something really stupid in front of a large audience.

Neptuna51,

Welcome aboard, that is quite a graphic on the side of your C-26. So tell us about you and your boat. Is the boat new, okay we know its 30 years old but is it new to you or are you one of those long time owners?

Thanks
Alan
