I painted the topsides and hull a few years ago and it really turned out well but I have never painted the rough brown finish that most of us walk on. What is this stuff? I suspect it is just the regular gelcoat that has some kind of material in it to give a grip when walking on it. Can it but painted also with interlux, which is what I used for the rest of the boat. I would use some kind of beige or brown colour.

It is just a different colored gel coat with a texture pattern built into the form. It can be painted just like the rest.

Have you had any luck color matching??? Im planning on touching up some spots on tan part and Id rather not need to repaint all of the deck.
