Ha! If you've ever accidentally had your hand on a phone block terminal when a call came in, and felt those 50-90 VAC ringing volts clipped off in square wave form hit you - you wouldn't call it low voltage !
(Was wiring in a newsroom phone at a new radio station. It was a new number, nobody knew it to call it, so I didn't worry about it. Some idiot dials a wrong number, and ZAP! I swear I heard little faeries laughing in the background !)

The C22 mast came as 28' 9" before serial No CBC 33152-xxxx, and 26' 9" after that serial number. All sails, standing, and running rigging was modified at the same time they cut 2' off the mast.

also...what years did the c26 come with oval windows? I saw a 26 at a sailing club with oval windows and it was by far the sleekest lined boat of the lot of probably 150 22-30 ft boats there! If i knew how to posy pics here i would....

early c-26, like mine from 1978, had like a bullet shaped foredeck area, not flat and the cabin house kept going all the way to the bow, not truncated like the later boats.... this had only three advantages; made more headroom in the V-berth; helped water roll/drain off the bow; made the boat look so sleek and modern and like no other. In my marina, they still comment on that design line to the bow, i am trying to figure out ways to update the reat of the boat correctly to play off that line to make the boat look really sleek and moder. HOWEVER, it does make walking, sitting, lying, working onthe fore deck, kinda tricky. I also have oval windows, but i think they all had that shape.
