Seacocks
I have a little leek, The vary old Boonze Seacock,1@quoter inch. on land it was stif, hard to open. Now in the water, is is slopy, easy to open, an leeks a little. ( I did not take it apart an greas it with water prof greas be for lonch) now that it is in the water, wile it is open I will take out drain plugs in budy an put in greas zerks an greas it. Good hose goes from Seacock to Gusher 10 Pump. Pump goes to Flexible Water Tank, tank goes to Head-Mate Head. I know this set up, is now agenst the law. But just for safty, I hooked every thing up. Seacock leaks a little in the boat an also the water tank, so with out the set up I would have a bigger leek. When the water wormes up I will go diving an put a cork in the hole & check that keel cable. My Diaphragm Pilge Pump with strainer 4.5 gph, with it's discharge blow the water line is OK I hope. A Funy Note, The spar key for the Ignition Switch was cut from the rong blank, an dos not fit, It took 30 years to find that out. I will have one made. Set Up: I spent the day setiny up the sails, Gib has two reef points, it is hooked up an stold in its bag. First time I did that, good idea I think. Main is loos footed, with three reef points, an has no slugs, just goes in the track. The sail cover from my C-20 workes in it. Next nice day I will have my shake down crose.
