Went out around 600P, sailed down the lake with LSU's first College World Series game on the radio, back at 830 twilight, tied up, and listened to the last part of the game under the glow of the the battery/solar lights I added to our rear pilings. Sweet.

There is still hope. Your team played well.
The boat is great...the outboard, not so much. It's in the shop. Won't shift into gear. Keeping my fingers crossed that it is an easy and inexpensive repair.

Hi Steve - which is why I wasn't there today !
The best time there is anytime but summer ! I'd love to have a C22 for over there. We looked at slips on Pontchartrain last week, still pretty pricey. How's your's coming ?
ps Geaux Tigers !

I'm in the stall stage so to speak but I'm putting in a 16,000btu heat pump ,complete head , auto piolot, and opening ports in the v-birth. I finished installing the furler and converting the head sail w/ sunbrella guard. I'm looking at Lake Aurther for a slip It's closer.

Wow, she's going to be really nice!
I've meet some of the folks from Lake Arthur Yacht Club. Nice people, pretty reasonable on membership and wet slips fees too.

We were at on lake that night getting sketchy reports on the game. AM radio reception leave alot to be desired in the middle of the lake. It was a great game. Rematch time! Good luck!

Oh man, I sat up till the 11th pulling for the Hogs, but my 4am wakeup meant I had to give it up an inning too short ! They really came back !
Either way now, we'll have an SEC team in the CWS finals, and Mon, Tues, Wed nights I'll be on the boat !
