Back Afloat

EE's back afloat after a couple more items being checked off the list.
Broken boweye was replaced and the wood block that was backing it as well.
Transom tray contained little more than air and a few crumbs of wood on the entire starboard side, and I mean from the center of the tray all the way to the transom, that was filled with a combination of ply, filler, and glass. Very solid now.
The very oblong pivot hole in the rudder blade was filled in, then redrilled with a bushing added.
Also the busted lower mushroom bearing was repaired, and a new spacer added top and bottom.
Sailor 280 outboard now has had the carb rebuilt, the fuel pump rebuilt, the gearcase disassembled for inspection, a new shift rod pin installed, new impeller with upper and lower seals, pretty much everything but a top end job.
And the new inexpensive-grade red bimini was installed.
No wind Saturday, but tested the outboard and the bimini. Outboard ran great,and the tiller has never felt as solid as she does now. No slack, no slop, just response.
