does anyone know what is in the main sheet bridle mount on the stock C-26 is inside that hold the blocks down.I made custom risers for a traveler and two screws on one side and one on the other are stripped. I would like to just retap them to 1/4-20 if its a plate I just painted the inside ceiling would hate to cut it all out
Thanks Gregg

Hey Gregg, I think it is just a piece of wood, like the mast step. Was there any residue on the screw threads that could give you an indication?
Also, I just got a piece of track for my C26, and I was trying to decide on what to use for a riser, what did you use, and do you have any pics?
I am planning on bolting all the way through and using a backing plate on the cabin ceiling, I figure that anything that can be beefed up, should be.

I do have some photos of them I'll try to post tomorrow. the screws that mounted the blocks on are 10-24, four on each side I'm afraid that they are wood nuts with the little grippers to grab the wood and three are just spinning
