New Boat

Post by Beady »

Hello my name is Brian and I have a sailboat problem. Well I went ahead and bought another boat not a Chrysler but a Thistle. Needs quite a bit of work and the price was great. I also decided that I needed to kill off a few more brain cells with spar varnish, fiberglass and of course bourbon. Any of you guys ever had any experience on this boat? There is a fleet about 40 minutes from my house that races on Sundays. I have been looking at the rigging diagrams and they have lines running everywhere on the boat so there is going to be a big learning curve.

looks like a nice boat...but I don't want any boat that I gotta hang out of...too old and decrepit for that.

Those little skimmers are very fast. They fetch handsome prices here in the NW.
