Lake Pepin First weekend in October

Post by Capt. Bondo »

I have a slip booked at the Lake City Marina the first weekend in October 8)
Any Midwest Chrysler sailers that want to join in the weekend?
May be the last chance to sail before it just gets to cold :(

As much as I'd like to join you, I'm afraid the season might be over for me

On a brighter note we did take the "Alpha" up to the Apostle Islands for 5 nights at the end of August. What a blast that was

I might try to head up for a day. My season hasn't even started yet :( . The c22 is still in storage and I don't know if I want to get it out. I would hate to have to re winterize it for just one sail. But I could bring up the Mutt, its still a chrysler.

This is our first year with a child (she is 10-1/2 months) so I didn't have any time to get out the 22. Being we live on the river and are a good 50min drive away from a place to sail, my wife thought we should get a speed boat for the river. Well, we did. And all I can say is I LOVE SAILING. This speed boat is a PIA.
