Main sail cover and headsail bag PICTURES ADDED!
Hey guys, I just started communications with "Lee Sail Covers" with the intent to order a main sail cover and a deck back for my jib on "Lady Jo".
http://leesailcovers.com/Home.php
The reason I went here is because one of you found this site and posted in a previous post. Testimonials look good as do the photos! They even use a Chrysler 22 in one of their shots! Also the price quoted is very reasonable relative to West Marine.
I have requested information on any forum discounts and blatently stated I would be documenting my experience here and provided a link to us for them should they want to follow what we are saying!
So, if you are considering such a purchase, you might hang tight for a week or two and see what happens.
So far it is a standard transaction however I did get my quote extremely quickly!

OK,
Last week I sent a follow up email to Lee Sail Covers.
Basic questions about things but I also asked about a discount for the forum, etc.
I received no response so . .. . .I started looking at my emails and it seems I NEVER SENT the email! LOL! So, all that and I was the missing link. My fault!
I called today and spoke with Becky about covers for the C22. Sail bag and boom cover. She seemed extremely nice and accomidating!
Unfortunately they do not do any discounts for forums.
All that being said, they have a good following for those that have used them.
I went ahead and ordered the Jib Deck back and the main sail cover in pacific blue for Lady Jo.
For those interested, the total price for both is less than West Marins price for a single Jib bag.
Only thing to note is the material used is called WeatherMax. It will be interesting to see how it holds up however in my case it will not be used all year. Just when Lady Jo is in regular use training since she is at the boat launch with mast up. When she comes home at the end of the season the covers will get cleaned and stored.

How sweet!
I was quoted a delivery day from Lee Sail Covers and they delivered!
They indicated in two weeks the covers would be shipped and by golly they were shipped exactly as promised! YEAH!
My sail covers arrived last night! At a glance they look great! I took a quick look at the stitching and materials and it all seems just great!
Hopefully in the next few days I can get to Lady Jo and put them on for fit test and photos!
So far, the service and delivery have been perfect!

Last night I took the sail covers up to Lady Jo and put them on!
Wow! Talk about a perfect fit!
The construction seems to be very nice, the fit is perfect and I do like the quick snaps to hold the main cover on!
Lee Sail Covers
Did a great job! My order was delivered exactly when promised, exactly as promised with a perfect fit and a very fair price for the budget minded sailor! The only thing I can say is THANKS!
I would recommend Lee Sail Covers!
Here are pictures from my cell phone!
I'll take much nicer photos with my Nikon once she is in the water!

Wow!
That is clearly not in my budget, but I must have it. Where did it put that piggy bank anyway?
Nicely done Captain Scott! Nicely done indeed.
Thanks
Alan

Nice covers! I have a head sail cover also but it's not used often since I stow my head sail below and choose the head sail for the wind conditions at the time.
Not to change the subject...but can you really get away with having registration numbers on just one side of your boat?
The boat patrol in my neck of the woods would be all over that on grounds to stop you for inspection

Your attention to detail is amazing! Lol! As stated you are correct. I must run reg numbers on both sides. Unfortunatly when it comes to sailing i get distracted. The numbers have been bought, they are in my pu but when i hook up to Lady Jo's trailer i somehow forget evertime to simply put the reg numbers on! Go figure! I can be so anal about saftey gear and such and forget my numbers!

Copacetic has a very similar setup that was custom made by an Ebay seller. I bought a second jib bag so that I'd have one for the genoa and one for the jib, which I use rather than sailbags. It's the next best thing to roller furling.
