Yes Yes. We should never forget! and even more try to really understand and appreciate what they've done for us. One thing I've learned from my dad is that freedom sure ain't for free!

I can't help but reflect on how different it is for we veterans now than it was when I was a kid and watching 'Nam vets coming home. They were getting spit upon, being called horrible names, and suffered virtually every humiliation and indignity the supposed "gentle and peaceful" people could think to heap upon them. I usually ended up in at least one fight per school year because some kid who knew nothing of what was going on or why would disrespect someone in my family or that I knew.

To any and all of my fellow veterans, I say, Semper Fidelis brothers and sisters.
