My 26 has 4 hatch boards and 4' extra length. Sorry I could not resist.

I'm noticing that the 4th bin board does not seem to be Pop-Top Specific. Seems to be boat manufacture date. After 1978/1979 there seems to be 4 boards perhaps.

I agree, looks like the boats manufactured on and after 1978 has the 4 hatch board spec.
I'm guessing the narrower boards where less expensive.
