Great sail Friday and Saturday!

Post by Gus »

Took my baby to the Pamlico River. What a sail. I found out something that even amazed the two seasoned skippers that were sailing with me: my boat will self-steer with a bungee cord to a close reach, and stay there, no matter what the wind does.
I did it Friday morning in a two hour starboard tack. I spend about 1 1/2 hours sitting on the bow with my feet dangling in the water doing 5 knots with the bungee cord. It was GREAT!

Gus,
Great pics. Looks like a great weekend.
I just got my C-22 and seeing your pics helps me with mine :)
Where is Cameron? Looked on the map and couldn't find it.
I have a place on Albemarle Sound at Hertford. Right on the water.
Go down there twice a year. Cannot wait to get the vessel down there!
Hope to be down this fall.

Jeff: Cameron its in between Sanford and Fort Bragg, but I'd love to get a lot waterfront anywhere in the coast.
Any questions about the 22 that I can answer, just ask, more than glad to help.
