Mario, it is Lake Pend Orielle. We've been there now for 4 years. Our slip is on the more scenic southern end of the lake in Bayview
Tom, yes the winds get channeled along the course of the lake by the steep mountains and create downbursts, eddies, fast and slow spots, just like a river channel. The cliffs on the south end are 3,000 ft up from the water and have the Billy goats we like to watch, they can be found all along the south and east sides of the lake...
