Inflatable Dinghy Deal?

Post by tgentry »

I just ordered a new Bombard 9' Slat Floor roll-up dinghy on sale for $529 from Defender. I have no interest in Defender other than being a satisfied customer. I just thought I'd pass along what I think is a killer deal. It's last year's model, so sale is on through the weekend or while they last.

Try this: http://tinyurl.com/ydlfek7

Or look under Boat and Motors, then Bombard. Or search for item 454943.

Everything they have seems to be on sale.

Gus! What a teaser. Now you've got to tell us more. There's got to be a story behind that!

Oh not much to say... dinghy got punctured and it was like sinking, and the boat went from doing 5 knots to do 3... I had to muscle that thing up... a total PITA to take apart... never again!

Reminds me of my son & I and a Capri 16. Captsized on us. We could get it righted but it went over again every time we tried to get in. Finally got taken in tow. As we headed for shore it began to wallow and went turtle again. Got a line around it and got it up and, finally, to the boat ramp. After getting it onto the trailer I de-masted and when the mast head was lowered to the ground this nice fountain of water began streeming out. The darn thing was full of water! Took it home, dissambled it and put it back together sealed very well - and sold the boat without ever taking it out again.
