MAIN SAIL FOR SALE!

Post by CaptainScott »

Hey all,
Cleaning the shed has brought up a very nice sail that I have no use for!

This sail is NOT an original Chrysler sail but hey, a sail is a sail!

This is a main sail with a bolt rope on the luff.

Dimensions:
LUFF 17'4"
LEECH 18'2"
FOOT 6' 11"

It also has a nice sail bag.
This sail is very clean with loads of crinkle in it! It has been properly flaked and stored. No rips or tears or warn threads coming lose. You will not be disappointed in condition!!

The sail has 4T2 at the top on both sides and a sail number of 218 on it.

The sail was made in the USA by Vector sails in Illinois.
I'm thinking $125 plus shipping.

Let me know if interested!

Is the sail for a C22? My sails are made by Vector and we'd like to replace our main as it is pretty blown. Wasn't Vector the sailmaker for the 22? If they fit the 22 I may be interested.

This was not on a C22 that I know of, just an extra sail that I have.

This particular sail is exceptionally clean so I figured I'd offer it up here.

It goes on my local craigslist this spring.

Check the dimensions on your day sailors and if it fits or is close, this might make a nice addition!
