I have moved and am starting construction on a new garage/workshop. My old shop had 9x7 roll up doors and obviously I could not get my C22 in there on the trailer (or my F350). So this time I figured that I would get a tall enough ceiling height and door opening to get the C22 inside for winter storage and work.
Unfortunately, or rather, fortunately, Blues Image is in the water 55 miles from my home and I did not measure the trailering height before launching her.
The mast rides on a urethane bow roller bracket that I welded to the cockpit railing and the top of the mast rides on the bow pulpit when trailering.
Does anyone have the measurement of clearance needed for this configuration?
I'm only asking because I will have the garage built before I pull the boat out in November.
Thanks in advance.

Hey Gregg,
Can you post a picture of the trailer you have?
The reason I ask is I've had several different C22 trailers and they range greatly in height. Some sit the hull quite low as is my current trailer, while some have the hull quite a bit higher. Then someone with a similar trailer can give you a more acurate measurement.

I've pasted a link to a picture here. It is the factory Chrysler trailer that came with the boat, although I have added another axle.

I have my Chrysler 22 on a trailer in my back yard. I'm at work till tomorrow morning but could likely get a decent measurement for you sometime tomorrow.
In the meantime here is a photo of mine with a 2012 Honda Pilot for comparison. I'm sure you could google the specs for the Pilot and get a good estimate from there.

Just so happens, before I drove to lake Superior last weekend I measured that clearance just incase I needed to deal with any low gas station canopys. Sitting a the stock 1978 trailer, from highest point of mast on bow pulpit to ground was about 9 feet. The trailer is wider that my E150 also.
