Well I should be able to say I have done but not yet...I do have two quasrts of the white in the shop for the project boat...however (minor rant  ) UPS has managed to NOT deliver the 2 quarts of primer successfully in two attempts..both times it gets to the "out on truck for delivery" stage and gets returned "damaged"...trying a third and final time today..sheesh...

Dan

I used Rustoleum on my two hatches, but my C26 is still in the back-yard so I can't say just how it would turn out on the water for a season.

Wow Terrence,
Those hatches look great! Did you redo the non-skid or just paint over it?
Nice job

Clair

The translucent sections of the hatches were redone with non-skid before it came to me. The non-skid was still good I only cleaned it all up rebeded the hardware primed and painted.

I just used the rustoleum topside paint for re-painting the side stripes on our C20. Went on quit nicely, took 2 coats for a decent coverage. Looks great, only concern so far is that it seems a little tacky (not wet) yet after a few days. I could take my finger nail to it and scrape off a little piece. Not sure if this a problem with the high humidity we've been having since I've painted it...I'll give it a few more days.

I just used the rustoleum bottom paint also. Seems to cover everything up nicely. 2 coats required for this also, I've got my 1st coat done and coverage is still a little uneven. I did a somewhat "quick" job on this. I scraped the loose bottom paint off, and lightly sanded everything, but did not take it all off. I did enough sanding to apparently look like a smurf by the time I was done. :D I'm pleased with the coverage so far. It will take about 3 quarts by the time I'm done.

True test will be what it looks like after the sailing season!

On the '79 and '80 C26 there are no translucent sections in the hatches. That looks like the factory non-skid pattern.

I really like the two tone look with the gray non-skid.
