watch out for currents east river is bad enough but you want to go through
Hell Gate at the beginning of slack water. when you open the site select Hell Gate and scroll for the month and day.there are 7 to thoose one also I would join Activ Captain which is https://activecaptain.com/X.php to select where you want to select currents and if you hit it wrong you can watch Barges going through sideways and you may be full throttle and going backwards. Be Careful and plan and recheck your plans the sound is great.
