3 boards on both of our 22's. One is a '75 and one a '76, meaning neither has the pop top.

Non-pop with 4 boards, one very skinny, maybe 2" tall. Doesn't look like it broke off the other boards because it still has the tapered lower edge.

My 77 C22 has 3 regular boards, and one 1/2" lower board for the bottom, I just leave this one there. I've left it out before by accident, did not seem to notice for days. :-)

Oh. not a pop top.

I'm noticing that the 4th bin board does not seem to be Pop-Top Specific. Seems to be boat manufacture date. After 1978/1979 there seems to be 4 boards perhaps. :?:

Thanks
Alan

Alan
I agree, looks like the boats manufactured on and after 1978 has the 4 hatch board spec.
I'm guessing the narrower boards where less expensive.

Less expensive, and they warp less if not quarter sawn.
