Fixing up a '77 Pirateer

Post by JohnBruton »

I'm working on a 1977 Pirateer and I need info on restoring the surfaces and I recently (2 Hours ago) tore up a mast cable. I am now looking for replacements for both metal shrouds. If anyone can help I would apprciate it.

I know this I a little late but what kind of info do you need in regards to refinishing? I recently had to patch a hole and painted my boat so I might be able to offer some insight.

Thanks CaptainScott. I was a lurker on this site for a while a couple years ago when I picked up my first sailboat (a pirateer) but then school and kids got in the way so I haven't been out on it in a whole.

I've been watching some sailing documentaries on Netflix and I'm getting that itch to take her out so here I am finally contributing to the community anxiously awaiting warmer weather.

One of my shrouds are starting to fray, I'd also like some info as to where I could find one.
