I weighed my C22 at the truck stop

Post by N41EF »

I've seen several post where people asked what a C22 on a trailer weighs, for 19 dollars later I have an answer. I was on the way to the lake, have a 5hp nissan outboard, all the cushions, a playmate coole, three jackets, two throwables, a tool kit, two fire extinguishers, two gallons or fuel in a plastic can, my lawnmower sided battery next to the head, two handheald GPS's phone, and hand held radio. My trailer is a galvinised single axel, LED lights, no spare tire, fenders and 2x6 bunk boards.

The trailer empty last week weighed 680 pounds.

The boat on the trailer weighs 3540, for a net weight of 2860 pounds.

For the record, boat, trailer, and my 1999 Land Rover Discovery weighs 9020 pounds, just over Four and a half tons!

(Stupid Math)

It was a CAT scale at my neighborhood truck stop.

N41EF,

I was going to run mine over the truck scales but thanks for doing it for me. Trailers are similar, but I'll have to adjust for a much, much larger cooler. :)
