Towing a Man o' War

Post by motosailor »

Does anyone have experience towing a Man o' War? What do you use as your tow vehicle, and are there any recommended trailers? I'm trying to keep prices very low - am aiming at a used (and very old) pickup truck, but aside from Craigslist, don't know where to begin.

Spring is approaching, and I've been advised against towing with my aging sedan.

Cheers,
John

Trailer wise I've had good luck with the little Harbor Freight trailer that came with my Coronado 15. I think they are around $300 unassembled. Truck wise almost anything I would work think, the Man-o-War weighs about 200. I towed the Coronado 15 (400 pounds) with my aging KIA Spectra for a while but only short distances of about 20 miles,
