Hey Bill, in our marina, the marina will not share owner information. However they will share info to the owner. You could give your contact info to the marina and ask them to share with a note indicating your desire to share info! It works well and if they owner wants to stay private, they can! Eit...

Re: replacing the RF jib with a std. hank on jib.

Welcome to the forum!

I would think that simply taking off the RF jib and forstay, put on a standard forstay, and hanking on the new jib would be as simple as that.

I've gone the other direction on boats but not RF to hank.

Re: Help! should I buy this boat?

Hi Richo, Welcome to the forum! The Chrysler 22 is a pretty stout boat. I've personally had 4 of them and all were pretty solid plus the many I've seen otherwise. If you can, get a local sailor to look at the boat with you do it. Someone who is familiar with sailboats. In general I tend to stay away...

Cold and SNOW! Puget Sound!

With all the cold and snow we have to watch our baby carefully! We balance heating the boat with the very high costs of electricity. Destiny stays in the water year round. I believe we have finally found a reasonable method! We have put two little round dehumidifiers aboard, one in each head with al...

Re: What bodies of water do you sail?

Hi Rick, since you did not get a response, on Destiny we use an oversized Bruce with 100' of chain plus 200 ' of line. Of the 15+ years on Destiny the Bruce has never failed us once set. Only time I could not get her hooked was in Fox Cove off Sucia Island. There was not enough room on the sand ston...

Hi Watervillian, Have you checked our documents page? We have original manual for the Buccaneer there. It has blown up drawings of the boat with parts identified. Click the documents link in my signature, you will be whisked away to our document host page, select documents in the bar and scroll down...

Welcome Joe,
My first thoughts are watching CraigsList nation wide using one of those apps that notify you when an item comes up.
Watching here in the For sale section might bring some help too.

Re: What bodies of water do you sail?

Welcome!
There are several sailors in the Puget Sound with Chryslers! I wonder if we've crossed paths! We frequent the San Juans and Gulf Islands pretty regularly and see Chryslers there! I've tried hailing on the VHF but have never received a response!

Re: What bodies of water do you sail?

As far as the rudder, I have completely rebuilt a couple of C22. Make sure the lines don't bind. Make sure the rudder can freely move up and down. One thing I added to one of my C22's was little "T" handles to the lines. I also used color coded lines so I always knew which line pulled up a...

Weekend aboard! Went to Poulsbo!

Well, Thursday night we spent aboard! Beautiful evening with awesome sunsets photos on the Nikon! Destiny entered the fog bank and stayed there for 5 hour...
