I don't know what the color is...that is what was on it when I bought her. I actually intend on stripping her down to original and taking it from there. I have quite a bit of repair work to do before she can go into Lake Michigan. The P.O. didn't do a thing to her as far as upkeep goes. She is basic...

I stood about 15 feet away from Copacetic today....

What a pleasant surprise I had today... My wife and I went to Racine, Wi today for supper at Gaslight Pointe Marina. Afterwards we strolled along the waterfront walkway and my wife suddenly says..." hey ! ! Isn't that the boat you showed me on your Chrysler forum??" Lo and behold much to m...

My old rudder post and cheeks are definitely aluminum...I can see where the cheeks must have cracked at the welds at one time and the PO had some reinforcement plates scabbed on the joints to beef up the structure. My new rudder post arrived today from Speedy Metals...$29.24 total cost with shipping...

started work on my "new" C22

I took advantage of the beautiful day and crawled under the cockpit sole to remove the thru hull for the rudder post...she was evidently damaged by the PO running aground. I intend to replace it w...

I am also thinking of stripping the bottom paint on my 1976 22. The existing paint is worn away in some spots and I have thoughts about stripping entire boat and just using something like PolyGlow if the hull looks in good condition. I am going to "dry sail" my boat...no slip...so I really...

Recently sold my 1978 Newport 16 and purchased a 1976 Chrysler 22 in February. Had to help shovel her out ...
