Outboards and the 26
I did a search and only found a thread on the 22 so I am starting one on the 26. I am planning a purchase of the 9.9 longshaft Suzuki 4 stroke with electric start, I am in a windy Bay but I still don't think that I need a 15 hp. Also, I heard that the 9.9 outboards can be upgraded to a 15 with a new...

I was always meaning to get over there to take some measurements but never had teh time and I was told to abandon the effort to convert to inboard as it would be too expensive, complicated , and uneconomical for ...

mine is likely OEM and it is mounted on the inner side of the starboard lazerette.. it is midway about and it is nicely simple...control cables go inside teh lazerette strait back out the transom and to the OB. my control is a simple Chrylser throttle lever ( I can use my feet!) and a push/pull knob...

But first I will check everything out next week and see if I got the signet equip as per EE and maybe just leave the old stuff alone and go w/an in hulltra...

trailor question.
I need to move my fixed keel C26 (and shipping cradle) all of 90 miles just one time. My boat is sitting in its factory shipping cradle. someone said that it might be possible to simply mount the cradle onto a flat bed type trailer and then drop the boat into the cradle and your'e off... seems too e...

main halyard at mast head!!!
Ok, this is a pretty pedestrian sailing problem. my main halyard is now dangling about 6 inches from teh mast head. my mast is mounted in the raised position and I would hate to lower it for this. can I go aloft just on the jib halyard? will that be safe w/o a 2nd halyard? will that get me high enou...
