I have recovered a halyard by standing on the dock with a long piece of Pvc (think I used 3/8) and duct taped to the end of the pvc was the hook from a bungee cord. I did use a 6 foot step ladder on the dock and hook the halyard and bring it down. I took a couple of pieces of pvc and with about a fo...

The C-20 's look like great boats. I only day sail my 22 and all that extra room in the cockpit of a 20 would be fantastic. I really like that table in the cockpit.
Enjoy!!

One of the first boats I sailed on was a Luger. My friends Dad had built it. Neat little boat but it was a 20 footer. I think it came as a kit. Everything came as a kit houses from Sears, Radios from Heathkit and Fiberglass bodies for kit cars. Today my kid can't assemble a sandwich. Oh well showing...

Learn something new every day.

I went and paid my dock fees for the boat and cleaned her up a little. I started to screw around with the pop up top. I then discover what the block of metal on the mast was for. It holds the pop up top in place. I had thought the previous owner had installed it and could not find a use or had never...

Spring front hatch c22

Does anybody have a source for the spring (hatch prop) for the front hatch on a C22. I broke mine and the front hatch will not stay up without attaching a line to the hatch and tying it off to the mast (pain).

I use the Harbor Freight solar charger as well and I use a trolling motor to get out from the dock. It works ok if I don't use the motor much. Love Harbor Freight always come home with something from that place.

From the phone number she looks like she came from Wisconsin. Did you win from the Rawhide boys ranch and if so you helped out a great organization with former Packers QB Bart Starr at the helm. If that is the case then why not paint her green with a yellow stripe. lol.

I don't know the more I look at the C-20 the more I like them. If you really want a C22 maybe would could look into some sort of trade? I basically day sail mine and I have to admit that big cockpit looks pretty cool.
