How many hours of operation do you get with the 6 gallon? Also, what fuel grade do you use ? regular or plus ( I have a four stroke...) MIND THE GAP!
Look above at the great pic in Bhcurly's post... you will clearly see a big gap betweenthe top of teh hatchboards and the lip of the main sliding hatch... now ... this is great for ventalation.. but lately.. I am getting a lot of water ingress from that gap... also bugs ( wasps!) come in.. now what ...

had a AMS ( marine surveyor) at the c-26 yesterday.. I thought I would pass along some model generic information... He loved the boat and said the hull is VERY strong and thick ( he said back then they were afraid of fiberglass and really laid it on thick... he said a modern mass produced boat today...

This is soooo weird.... just this morning I was looking at a CL ad for a C-20 in my area with a trailer... just in case I bail out of this c-26 alltogther ( don't know how much MORE this issue will cost and I already spent a fortune and that damn gorgeous Beneteau went for less than this repair will...

well after a few weeks of the bilge slowly filling .. I determined it was NOT rain water coming in from the topsides or the new portlights.. it was from the hull.. checked and rechecked all three thru-hulls - dry-- could NOT figure it out but I determined that, although a small pesky leak from SOMEW...
