If you can get your hands on some orange foam that is used in floating docks, it can be shaped with a hack saw blade. But I con't to use the plastic bottles. If it works it must be norwegian.

Don't feel bad. I once parked my truck and trailer on the boat ramp and after aplying the e-brake I went to get my ski boat to drive it on the trailer. The trucks transfer case sliped into neutral, the e-brake didn't hold and my truck submerged into the river. After the cab had filled with water I w...

I just bought my boat. The sails are original and had been stored in a sail bag. A critter had got in and decided to chew a hole in one so I brought them to the "sail loft" in bayfield, WI. The guy told me they were very repairable and had been used very little.(the boat had not seen water...

I called about that boat a few weeks ago. The owner told me he had an acepted offer and was waiting for payment. There is no trailer with the boat and the buyer was trying to locate one so he could move the boat.

I have a general question. Why paint the hull instead of haveing the gel-coat buffed out with some compund? Is it oxidized to badly or are you wanting a different color. I once painted a boat with Dupont imron car paint. Mixed the thiner to the proper viscosity and added the hardner then sprayed it ...

Thanks for the answers. I paid 2200.00 (felt like that was a good price)for the boat and it took me a half day to clean all the junk out of it(over 30 life jackets and OMS seat cushions, some still in original package). I wasn't able to find all the equipment to rig the boom as a gin pole, ie the 5/...

Questions from a new C 26 owner

Just purchased a C26 and am kind of hesitant to raise the mast using the gin pole method with the boom. Has any one had success doing this or come up with a better way? Also the current sails are original and I would like to buy some more if anyone has any they want to get ride of.
