I'll second that,

A motor that comes out of the water in rough weather will burn up at least your water pump impellar quickly... Even a brand new one,,, been there did it.

Thanks for the info!

Well, Never heard of a luger but it does remind me of a bayliner buccaneer. I agree with John Ks' link but only because I've seen those type boats sail... They are more for floating and relaxing and spending money on than sailing. I'd bet the C-22 has better standing rigging and will, no doubt sail ...

Love the video! Took some of a friend in his a while back, in case you missed it. He has the original set up obviously, like your lateen set up though. He was out in some stronger winds and bent his mast... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XKNpYJ-ZqD0&list=UU-D5MwA-8cNtxVLtP3Exw6w&index=15&...

Dang that sounds like an epic! At least you didn't raise sail in those winds for who knows what kinda excitement. Glad nobody hurt with the mast coming down also.

All things considered, good day eh! Oh and, nodody in the restaraunt saw any of that right?

Some quick cure epoxy and maybe a small piece of fiberglass cloth after you pull the screw out and rough i...
