That is a vary nice boat, looks like the main sail roles up in the mast. An your new head sail looks good, must be fun to sail. I like the 3' RC, Destiny has a mini me. "That's cool" Thank you for posting

Vary nice sailboat, that is a lot of work to get done in a vary short time. I wish you the best, that all goes will. Wish I lived closer I would love to see it. Underwater Led lights, what a good idea more information needed. love to put some on a C-26.

Thank you for the photos, that is a funny place to store a frying pan. Bet it has had little use. Looks to me that Chrysler put a lot of work into the mast support, an most of them are working yet after 30++++ years. So poor wood is not what I would call it

I looked at my 1979 C-26, the wood panel to the left of the head door had been cut to make for a wider entrance to the head, an my c-20 did not come with a head door. Sorry about that, I did the same thing with my C- 20. Broke the mast, but I fixed it my self an the boat sails just fine with a mast 1 inch shorter. No insurance clam, It's a sad day when a Chrysler sailboat gets parted out.

I have that type of mount on my McGregor 25, no mechanical assist. I put a block and tackle on it works good for 9.9 two-stroke. But a for stroke is going to be nearly twice as heavy. Good luck in finding a mount that will work with a fore stroke. Please keep us posted
