thanks... right now my strategy is to try and get my current set-up working , if not then find new transducers that willl fit and if not then do all new thru hulls...might get a cheap hawk eye or pwc depth sounder with a in hull transducer in the mean time so I won't delay my launch

mine is likely OEM and it is mounted on the inner side of the starboard lazerette.. it is midway about and it is nicely simple...control cables go inside teh lazerette strait back out the transom and to the OB. my control is a simple Chrylser throttle lever ( I can use my feet!) and a push/pull knob...

thanks ron, thank EE, I might take you up on that if it is a st-60 since I think I can get a transducer + plug + thruhull for the st-60 on ebay. But first I will check everything out next week and see if I got the signet equip as per EE and maybe just leave the old stuff alone and go w/an in hulltra...

I need to move my fixed keel C26 (and shipping cradle) all of 90 miles just one time. My boat is sitting in its factory shipping cradle. someone said that it might be possible to simply mount the cradle onto a flat bed type trailer and then drop the boat into the cradle and your'e off... seems too e...

Ok, this is a pretty pedestrian sailing problem. my main halyard is now dangling about 6 inches from teh mast head. my mast is mounted in the raised position and I would hate to lower it for this. can I go aloft just on the jib halyard? will that be safe w/o a 2nd halyard? will that get me high enou...

I amlooking for something that will fit in place of teh original units and I don't have to cut a new thru-hull for the transducer...is anyone using thruhull transducers..do they work...
