Diver Darren is looking for some things, including cushions. He's over by Ann Arbor, I think.

Do you have cushions? Foam for the cushions?

I would love to see a pic of somebody's spring(s) showing where they are mounted.

My hatch just has two rods (one on each side) that run through a small swival sleeve. A knurled nobbed bolt locks them in place.

Wow! SCAREY!!

Kids and Grandbaby are up in Wichita Falls. Brother-in-law and family are in Austin. Baby Brother is in El Paso. Hence, we keep a close eye on the Texans!

I was stationed in Wichita, KS for 4 years...somewhat familiar with Tornado Alley. Reef 'em in!

My buddy has a sail repair shop near Howard City. He does custom cushions as well (He can use mine as a pattern.) I think he just has a flat rate of $50 a piece. Sunbrella or like material, piping, zippers. If yer interested, I'll shoot out his e-mail/website.

Darren- As you see, plenty of offers for help. And here's another--I'm over on the left coast of Michigan, so not too far off. Maybe once you get the paperwork in order we can schedule a GI party on it. Like has aslo been said, you will KNOW this boat by the time you put her in the water. It ...

Yessir, El Toro, 4 stout come-alongs and two heavy nylon tow straps. All over rated for safety. Also used some ratcheting tie straps to hold the boat in case a comealong gave out. Finally, when I got the boat into position, I bolted 2X10 crossmembers underneathe and set the boat on them--just to mak...

The Grand Haven Pier is about 5-miles south of my home. Though we didn't see much of that sort of winter this year, it is very entertaining at times!

Wow, guess I dodged a bullet! I not only have had my toerails off for quite some time, I've traveled some 40 miles each way in that condition. Also, I pulled out the caulking under that lip and replaced it with a polyurethane. (Shot it up into the slot with a pneumatic grease gun with a flattened br...

The photo is at the harbor on Mackinaw Island after the Chicago-Mac race. He came in first in the solo multihull class. Not sure how fast then, but one year I found online where he averaged beter than 9.5 kns over the 333-mile race. I'm going to talk with him soon, I'll try to find out just how fast...

Kid in a candy store is ABSOLUTELY right! I love it, so far! And they're paying me too!

The only Chrysler I know about in the area is in my winter storage! :D

I'm told this boat went over sideways once AND did an endover once! The cockpit would have been nearly 40-feet in the air! Ouch!!

New Job. Cool Boat.

I started working for Torresen Marine here in Muskegon, Michigan this week. I started working on this boat today. Repairing the auto-pilots for a start. The owner (Fred Ball) had this thing made. Reminds me of Kevin Cosner's ride in Waterworld. http://www.flickr.com/photos/gretchdorian/4722439013/si...

My C-22 sits on bunks. Paul's is on rollers. The way ours are set-up, the weight of the boat is carried by the bunks/rollers leaving the keel hanging free. Once on the trailer, you lower the keel onto the trailer to reduce the weight on the pin. Rather than extending the housing around your keel, wh...
