Nice vids, thanks. Since I've never actually sailed my C22 yet nor been aboard one, that slight humming noise that can sometimes be heard is coming from the keel cable?

I no longer have a table saw. I removed the first digit of my ring finger almost twenty years ago with it. Always respect your tools, especially power tools. I've known three friends who own table saws and they've all managed to remove parts of various fingers with them over the years. I'll have to...

I'm tired of this thing taking up room in the garage. I'd rather not mess around with shipping it, but if anyone is close to the Dallas area they can have it.

It being a C26, its a pretty good bet that the motor tray is cracked on one of the rear corners.. 8) That's it exactly. Travis, the boat is at Collin Park Marina on Lake Lavon. 1979 C26 - Dallas

I took a quick amateur look and didn't see much wrong except a slighly cracked motor mount. I think I'm going to pass on it but I told the owner I'd mention it here.

My 5 minutes of research seems to advise that the fruit is ripe when about the size of a normal lime. If it's hard when you squeeze it then it's not quite ready. The limes will turn from green to yellow before falling from the tree, but I would pick them when they're still green and give a bit to ge...

Thanks everyone. The problem is that motor is about the biggest the Victoria can handle weight-wise. Maybe best thing to do is get that motor since the Victoria has to have one anyway, and then see if it will work at all on the Chrysler.

Outboard Advice

I am trying to find an outboard that will work on both a Chrysler 22 and a Victoria 18. What I have in mind is a 3.5 hp four stroke Tohatsu: http://www.onlineoutboards.com/Tohatsu-3-5-hp-MFS3-5BL.html It's more than enough for the Victoria but is it strong enough for the Chrysler? At the moment I sa...

So this is the current state of my C22. The previous owner had obviously done some work on the boat as the hull below the water line has been sanded smoth so that none of the many white "blisters" that can be seen are raised as far as I can tell. Sorry, this is my first fiberglass boat, bu...
