Trailer Needed (MD to TN) Chrysler/TMI 26 Swing Keel
Hello Fellow Chrysler Owners, I'm looking for a trailer that I could use to haul my 1981 Chrysler/TMI 26 (w/ Swing Keel) from Maryland to Nashville, Tennessee in the next month. I would be able to return it two weeks after the trip. Vehicle will tow up to 9500 lbs. I understand my boat is 5500 lbs, ...

Re: Big Leak - Vee Berth - Anchor Locker / Hull Deck joint? Toe Rail ?
Thanks for the reply. Your C26 looks great! Good work. Happy sailing ! Sealing off the anchor locker isn't out of question for me. I wonder if those were prevalent on this year model, or if that was an after thought, added in at some point. The hardware on the forward bow caused the builders (or som...

Big Leak - Vee Berth - Anchor Locker / Hull Deck joint? Toe Rail ?
Hello Chrysler Sailing Community, I've set up a Facebook Page on SV Máire to help journal the restoration projects. I welcome your insights on this leak in the vee berth. https://fb.watch/5o-kdJYV-o/ I'm trying to determine if the leak in the Vee Berth is from a prior gap between the anchor locker b...

Waterflow bow to stern C-26 / T-26
T-26 doesn’t have access to much of the stringers area of the hull, except at the forward and aft sections of the boat. If water flows into the the v berth area, would the normal design allow that water to flow all the way to the Stern? Or is each cross-section going to stop the water flow? It would...

Re: Chrysler 26 aft cabin cushions
I'm in the same boat. lol.
So I was thinking about finding 15x15 boat cushions that could double as type 4 life preservers.
Looked on eBay and found this option too. A 15" x 59" would fit well in the space, maybe even the 63":

Re: T-26 Hull construction / upkeep
Thank you Monty, I'm not sure about the 2 piece iron shoe, will have to look when I get back to her. On the rear of the fixed keel, I'm not certain either. I'll check with the prior owner. I wish I could post photos here, but the editor doesn't seem to allow it. Maybe the pink foam core I see around...

3B2ADC49-D617-4146-8320-CF577191A078.jpeg 1981 T-26 Courser w/ swing keel I'm planning steps to take for this hull. Blisters were treated by prior owner two years ago. I'll wash the whole boat first, smooth sand the hull to ready it for a coat of ablative paint. If that sanding reveals any blisters...

T-26 Courser 1981 - New Owner / Leaks
Hello Chrysler Sailors, I'm a brand new boat owner this week. A 1981, TMI, T-26 Courser, swing keel. Also sold as a Chrysler C26 in those years before TMI. I bought her from only an outside look, on the dry, with tarps attached over the cabin but the price was amazing. I'm thrilled, and grateful. It...
