I got an email asking about a Mutineer From Ginny Gorman.
Any insights would be appreciated. I would guess it is a 1987.
Ginny, I believe I can add you to the forum. I will just have to figure out the process. In the meantime email me directly.

1976 Sandpiper 22' "Kanpai"
A fiend of mine is selling his boat. It's on Lake Winnisquam in NH. It has sails, 4 stroke 9.9. I have sailed on this boat. It will need work. It has a soft area on the deck, the trailer is in rough shape.
Let me know if you're interested. I will have the owner contact you.

R/SSG,
Welcome to the forum. I expect you have found all the manuals you will need posted in our files. If you have any questions, we are happy to help. I found my C22 at a local farm where it sat for years for sale. I have replaced the Sails, Motor, Rudder system plus much general maintenance.

Thanks Rick,
Hopefully, keeping the website and forum available will help keep this wonderful boat brand supported and enjoyed indefinitely. I appreciate the efforts of the builders of this site and will do my part to pay the favor forward.

Re: Rudder Craft | Chrysler 22
I purchased the whole rudder tiller replacement system from Rudder Craft a few years ago. It did take quite a while for them to ship. I believe they are made to order. I had a few issues with the new system. It was made with a later model C22 through hull design that was not compatible with my 1976 ...

Does anyone have suggestions on spinnacker rigging with roller furling jib? Any idea of dimensions? I believe my C-22 was rigged with downhaul and halyard at some point.

Re: Electric Winch for Keel
Thanks for the info. I chickened out for now. I found my original winch is warped and binding along with the pulley. I decided to replace the hand winch with a heavy duty 1500# Dutton Lainson. I have not installed it yet, but I hope this helps make the keel easier to raise. I am concerned that ...

Re: C22 Roller Furling?
I have a C 22 with a roller furler. It is a fantastic feature, makes the head sail very easy to set and reef. As far as stepping the mast, the process is the same per the stepping guide. I use the jib halyard and the main sheet block assembly to raise and lower. The for stay and furler system is ...

Re: Electric Winch for Keel
Looks fantastic Bob. My keel is a struggle to raise with the manual winch. My wife can not crank it up. I am looking at various electric winches. One big concern I have is if someone uses the remote and pulls the keel though the hull. Could this be an issue, and is there anything that can be done to ...
