Lost hook base for mast

Where did you obtain the mast base hinge and how did it fit into Chrysler mast?

OEM bilge pump location

Did this boat come with a bilge pump? And where was it's location? This one has a manual pump in the head are but has had the head changed to a port-a-potty. I might use the through hull and route aft bilge pump fwd through bulkhead to its line. After totally clearing any water in aft berth area of ...

In a way, yes it is the same boat, it was storm damaged, hauled up on shore with a fractured tabernacle and dis-masted. My brother bought it at auction as an insurance salvage and having been a long time stink boat operator is now turning to sail power. He just finished a bareboat with friends in th...

Have you inspected that head area of the bilge for depth of water as opposed to the aft berth access? Which is the lower point of the hull when afloat, deepest point?
I have pondered both location but have only had the hull on trailer so far.

Blade rudder for C26

Strange hydrodynamics of swing up rudder lead me to believe the boat would handle and relieve steering effort better with a blade type. Has anyone changed out to something along this line. At least the present one with cutout for motor shaft will have to be rebounded and sealed. It was constructed o...

Thanks boaty,
So on your port side you have a galley sink discharge and nearby the bilge discharge? I thought maybe a junction of sorts would allow both to use the same port. Are they equal height ?

26' bilge pump

Where was the original location and the through hull routing? Placement looks viable in access below aft berth/ companionway but could possibly be placed under sole ahead of swing keel.

2016 update?

Still no one with an OEM wiring schematic?
Even a modified system? My acquisition has an original distribution panel below the galley as well as one starboard inside the companion way with operational switches for running, cabin, bilge and several acc. Switches.

Hull work on trailer

Has anyone repositioned a 26' swing keel on its trailer to perform hull work. eg: stripping, painting? I can envision securely fixing trailer and tugging stern aft with a winch 12" max. Is there to much pressure on hull to trailer support, etc.
