Flotation

Recently acquired a much abused 1974 C-22 Sandpiper. The foam beneath the
sliding galley bulkhead is comprimised. My inclination is to cut out the top,
replace the foam and reseal. Any thoughts and advice would be greatly
appreciated before I make a major mistake.

I recently acquired a'74 C-22 which had been drydocked for a long while. It is in need of a lot of TLC and when launched had a slight list to starboard. It has to come out for swing keel/winch repair. The boat yard folks suggested that the foam flotation was saturated and that an interior drain hole...
